Skilled Nursing and PC Memory Support have been conducting frequent outbreak testing as a result of recent COVID-19 positive tests. PC Memory Support, beginning today, has gone 7 days without a potential exposure so we are able to resume visitation again. Skilled Nursing has now had 9 total residents test positive, 8 of which remain present in our dedicated COVID-19 Unit. Skilled Nursing has had 3 additional direct care team members test positive in addition to 5 additional team members from ancillary departments who have limited resident contact.
Skilled Nursing
Due to the increasing number of positive tests, we have suspended all group dining and activities throughout skilled nursing. All team members will be tested a minimum of 1X per week, must wear an N-95 mask and eye protection at all times, and a gown during resident care. We are discouraging visitation in Skilled Nursing but families may still choose to visit per CMS regulation. It is imperative that all visitors continue to wear a mask at all times while visiting and ensure they are checking in at the kiosk at the main entrance.
Memory Support
While visitation is able to be opened up beginning 4/28/2022, we will still utilize increased precautions for a minimum of 7 more days. All team members will continue to be tested a minimum of 1X per week, must wear an N-95 mask and eye protection at all times, and wear a gown during resident care.
Personal Care
Personal care remains COVID-19 free and is open to visitation. Team members in personal care should review the PPE and testing guidelines to ensure the proper PPE and testing guidelines are being met.
Residential Living
We were notified of a RL resident testing positive on 4/27. We are not making any changes at this time but we would encourage individuals in Residential Living to wear a mask, and watch closely for any signs of symptoms.
