Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community was recently made aware of our first Resident Living Residents testing positive for COVID-19. Any individuals that may have had prolonged close contact with these residents have been notified.

QPRC will be offering rapid COVID-19 testing to any RL Residents or Team Members on Monday, August 16th. The testing will be held in the Commons Great Room from 2 PM to 3 PM. This is not required but is being offered to those that would feel more comfortable being tested.

At this time, there are no changes to activities or dining in Residential Living. Residents and Team Members must properly wear a facemask at all times while in common areas or hallways. This is for the safety of all our residents and team members.  RL residents not wearing masks may be prohibited from participating in on-campus activities, including activity programs, wellness programs, in-person dining, chapel, etc.

We will continue to keep everyone informed of any additional positive cases as they arise and any changes to procedures should we continue to have more positive cases. If you are exhibiting signs or symptoms of COVID-19, please contact your Primary Care Physician immediately for guidance on what to do.  You should quarantine in your apartment or cottage until you have received direction from your physician or until receiving a negative test result.
