August 24, 2020

In follow-up of a recent employee who tested positive for COVID-19, QPRC completed facility wide testing of Skilled Nursing Residents and Team Members on Thursday August 20. The results of the majority of these tests have come back and identified one additional nurse as testing positive. No other residents or team members have come back positive at this point. Out of an abundance of caution, we are moving to designate all Skilled Nursing beds as “yellow zone” for a minimum of 14 days from August 20. In-person visitation will be limited to residents who are at “end of life” as directed by PA, CMS and the CDC. QPRC encourages and will help facilitate virtual visitation during this time via Facetime, Zoom, Skype, etc.

In accordance with PA guidelines, QPRC will continue to conduct weekly testing on all employees with Skilled Nursing Facility contact weekly until we have two weeks with all negative tests. Please continue to check the website for updates on visitation as we look forward to resuming our reopening plan as soon as we are able.

We are thankful the positive employee remains asymptomatic and is feeling fine. We are also thankful we continue to have no positive resident cases in the Skilled Nursing Facility.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support as we work together to keep our residents and team members safe.
