Since our update on 12/28/2020, one additional Memory Support resident has tested positive, bringing the total to 14. All other residents on the unit did test negative and will continue to be tested weekly.
We are starting to get results back from Monday’s testing of team members. One team member has tested positive thus far. Fortunately, they have not had any resident contact.
It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that one of our Memory Support residents passed away yesterday. While we do not know the exact cause of death, the resident had tested positive for COVID during this most recent Memory Support outbreak. Our prayers are with the resident’s family as well as the team members who are working diligently to care for all our residents and keep them safe.
