This past week, a number of individuals within QPRC have tested positive for COVID-19. Ten additional skilled nursing residents have tested positive and are currently in our dedicated COVID-19 Unit. Five residential living residents have also tested positive over the course of the past week. A handful of team members across the community have also tested positive following the trend of a rising number of cases throughout the county.
Supportive Living Visitation
Per regulations, visitation is permitted throughout skilled nursing, personal care, and memory support regardless of outbreak status. Due to the extreme number of cases throughout our community and Lancaster County, we (QPRC) are discouraging visitation at this time. For those that do wish to visit, we are limiting visitation to 2 individuals at a time and require you follow our policies and procedures while doing so. We also ask that if you do choose to visit, you do so between 9AM and 7PM to ensure a smooth check in process.
Skilled Nursing and Personal Care
Skilled Nursing currently remains in a yellow zone. Team members, volunteers and contractors are required to wear an N-95 mask and eye protection at all times and use gowns while providing resident care.
Memory Support
Memory support has had more than two weeks with no new positive cases so they are currently in a green zone. Team members, volunteers, and contractors are required to wear a KN-95 mask and eye protection at all times while on the unit.
Residential Living
No changes are being made at this time to Residential Living procedures. We do ask that you continue to be diligent in wearing a mask at all times while in any common area or participating in any activities. Those wishing to be tested for COVID-19 as a precaution are welcome to come to the open testing times listed below. If you start exhibiting signs and symptoms, we ask that you take the necessary precautions and notify your primary care provider for further direction.
