Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community is continuing to see the effect of the Omicron COVID-19 surge within our community. Continuous testing has revealed additional residents and team members who have tested positive for COVID-19.
As additional cases continue to be identified in Skilled Nursing, we will continue to establish the safest and best way to cohort all the positive individuals together to limit further spread. Any necessary room changes are done immediately. Families will be notified of any positive covid-19 tests or necessary room changes as soon as possible. Any positive cases in Memory Support or Personal Care will stay quarantined in their room until released by DOH or DHS guidance.
Though visitation is still permitted per regulations, we cannot urge families enough to reconsider visitation during this time. Quarryville can assist with video calls, phone calls, window visits, etc. as a safe alternative that still provides interaction between our residents and their loved ones.
