Testing at QPRC has revealed positive COVID-19 cases in Skilled and Memory support.

2 residents in Skilled Nursing have tested positive, both are fully vaccinated. 2 residents from Memory Support have tested positive as well, both of whom are fully vaccinated. 5 fully vaccinated, and 1 non vaccinated team members at Quarryville also tested positive.

Skilled Nursing

Visitation in skilled nursing is still open after the recent directive from CMS and DOH. Visitors are required to check in and wear a face mask at all times while in the building. Visitation may only occur in resident rooms. All team members in the Thompson building must wear a N-95 Mask and eye protection at all times in addition to a gown and gloves while providing direct care to residents.

Memory Support

Regulations for Personal Care facilities have not yet changed so visitation in Memory Support is currently limited to compassionate care visitation only. Visitors are required to check in and wear a face mask at all times while in the building. Visitation may only occur in resident rooms. All team members in the Thompson building must wear a N-95 Mask and eye protection at all times in addition to a gown and gloves while providing direct care to residents.

Personal Care

Personal Care in the Long Building has not had any positive cases so visitation is still open and permitted in this area. Visitation may only occur in resident rooms. All team members in the Thompson building must wear a KN-95 Mask and eye protection at all times in addition to a gown and gloves while providing direct care to residents.

Testing

Testing for all team members working in personal care or skilled nursing will be required a minimum of once per week regardless of vaccination status. Non-vaccinated team members in skilled nursing must be tested twice per week. Testing days remain Mondays and Wednesdays from 7AM -10AM and 1PM to 4PM. Team Members must be tested or will be removed from work until they are.

We ask that all visitors and team members continue to exercise caution both inside and outside of the facility. We are thankful that none of our positive cases are exhibiting serious symptoms and are hopeful that continues to be the case. Please keep our residents and team members in your prayers as we continue navigate through this time to ensure the physical and mental wellness of our residents and team members.
