Supportive Living

Skilled Nursing

During our weekly outbreak testing of all team members and residents, Quarryville had a fully vaccinated resident test positive for COVID-19. Per DOH guidelines, we must continue outbreak testing for a minimum of 2 more weeks until we have 14 days with all negative tests. Visitation remains suspended during this time.  Families who are care planned as compassionate care visitors may still visit. All other visitors are required to set up window or skype visits through Activities.

Residents and team members, regardless of vaccination status, will be tested a minimum of once per week until we have 2 weeks with all negative results.

Personal Care

Personal Care completed its outbreak testing resulting in the ability for visitation, dining, and activities to open back up. All unvaccinated team members are still required to be tested weekly at this time.

Residential Living

Since our last communication, there have been 2 additional residential living residents that have tested positive for COVID-19. We have either completed or are in the process of completing contact tracing to notify anyone who may have had close contact with these 2 individuals. For privacy reasons, we are not able to share any information on who these individuals are.

We have seen more positive cases over the past month than we have during the entire length of the pandemic. We are monitoring positive cases extremely closely to ensure we take all necessary action to provide for the safety and well-being of our entire community.

At this time, we do not plan to suspend activities, dining or any other group activities. We do strongly ask that everyone wear their mask at all times when outside of your room unless you are eating or drinking. This will help ensure we can limit any further spread and continue to be able to offer activities and other group events. All residents are welcome to stop by the Hudson Taylor Dining Room in the Long Building to be tested for COVID-19. If you are having any signs or symptoms, please be sure to let us know immediately.
