Residential Living
On Friday, October 1st, Quarryville was made aware of a residential living couple who both tested positive for COVID-19. We are finishing the contact tracing process and will be notifying any residents with possible exposure of what they should do.
Any residential living resident or team member is welcome to come to COVID-19 testing sessions this week and next if they wish to be tested. We are testing Monday and Wednesday from 7AM -11AM and then 1PM to 5PM in the Hudson Taylor Dining room in the long building.
Skilled Nursing
There was on individual who tested positive for COVID-19 that minimal exposure in skilled nursing that fell just within their infectious period. As a result, we remain in outbreak status for the rest of this week. We are looking at a possible reopening date of mid-next week if covid-19 testing this week results in all negatives.
Non-vaccinated skilled nursing team members must be tested twice per week until the community transmission rate is lowered significantly. Vaccinated skilled nursing team members must continue to be tested once per week through the duration of outbreak testing.
Personal Care
There were no positive tests last week in Personal Care. We are awaiting on test results from October 4 before making an official announcement but we optimistic we will re-open visitation the second part of this week.
If there are no positive tests this week, vaccinated team members will no longer be required to have routine COVID-19 Testing. Team Members who are not vaccinated must continue to be COVID-19 tested weekly.
