September 16, 2020

We are thrilled to announce that the weekly testing for Skilled Nursing completed on September 10th has come back all negative. We are hopeful that weekly testing this Thursday will bear the same result and we will be able to start the process of opening up the Skilled Nursing units again.

As we look towards the possibility of opening up the skilled nursing units again, we would like to remind residents and families of some of the key visitation procedures for skilled nursing and personal care:

  • Residents and Visitors must wear masks at all times while visiting outside.
  • Families or friends who are visiting must check in at the white tent prior to going to the visitation booth to visit.
  • In order to continue to promote physical distancing, we are limiting outdoor visitation to 4 total individuals, including children.
  • Please see the link above to sign up for visitation. Please note there are separate times for Personal Care and Skilled Nursing to ensure residents are not crossing paths. We ask that you visit within the times you sign up for and do not show up other times or unannounced.

We understand this is not what anyone wants right now and certainly not why our team members chose to work in this industry. QPRC is committed to keeping all our residents and team members safe and following all the applicable regulatory guidelines in place.

There have been new guidelines and regulations put into place regarding visitation and reopening of Skilled Nursing and we are awaiting similar guidelines to be released for Personal Care. We are reviewing these and updating our policies and procedures to reflect these recent changes in regulations and guidelines. Please continue to check our website for the latest news and updates regarding testing and policy and procedure changes.

Thank you for your continued support and prayers as we work as a team to navigate this unique and challenging time.
