This final phase of our cottage community along Park Avenue in Quarryville will feature 38 award-winning cottage homes. It will also include landscaping enhancements such as a pond with a walking path, raised garden beds, a garden shed, and a sitting area with a flower garden.
We are excited to bring you the latest developments in the final phase of our Great Rock residential living community. We’re adding more cottages to accommodate growing demand, and as construction progresses, we’d like to keep you informed.
Key Features
Our finely crafted homes are designed with meticulous attention to detail — ensuring comfort, convenience, and modern amenities. Maintenance-free living truly allows you to Retire the Ordinary and Live the Extraordinary!
Cottage Choices:
Residents may choose from five different models: the Devonshire, Elliott, Franklin, Gideon, and Highland – all with convenient floor plans, some offering options for additional finished levels and/or three-season rooms.
Landscaping:
Landscaping is in place for the completed cottages and will continue as new homes are added. Each lot is customized with a mix of conifer and deciduous trees and plantings. Ten raised garden beds have been installed next to a community garden shed, with more added as demand grows.
Below the existing gardens, a sitting area and flower garden are also planned. Bushes and trees will be planted in this central common area as the surrounding homes are completed. Our goal is to create a picturesque landscape that enhances the overall appeal of the community.
Community Facilities:
The final phase of Great Rock will also include personal gardening spaces for residents to grow vegetables and flowers. At the Five Stones Pond, residents will enjoy a comfort station, perfect for special events and activities. These spaces are designed to foster a sense of community and provide opportunities for social engagement.
Construction Progress:
Our construction partners are working diligently. To date, 14 of the 38 cottages have been completed. Six more homes are scheduled for construction this year – five of which are already reserved. The sixth cottage, a Franklin, will serve as our new model home.
